Under the hood, the HTC One M8s is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset, offering an octa-core processor setup with four cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and another four cores at 1.0 GHz. Accompanied by an Adreno 405 GPU, the phone provided satisfactory performance for daily tasks and moderate gaming. Although not a powerhouse, with 2GB of RAM and the efficiency of Android 5.0 Lollipop and HTC's own Sense UI 7, the phone managed multitasking well for its category in 2015.
