Powered by the Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset, the HTC One SV features a dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait CPU, and an Adreno 305 GPU. With 1 GB of RAM, the device was capable of handling everyday tasks without significant lag, although it struggles with more demanding applications of today. Originally released with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, users could upgrade to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, bringing some software improvements and a more modern interface feel. The HTC Sense UI provided a unique layer, customizing the standard Android experience with additional widgets and a smoother navigation experience.
