Powered by a Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon S2 chipset with a 1.0 GHz Scorpion CPU and an Adreno 205 GPU, the HTC Radar provided respectable performance for its time. Paired with 512MB of RAM, it was competent in handling the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS, although it would struggle with more modern, resource-intensive applications. The OS itself was well received for its fluidity and unique live-tile interface, which offered a refreshing departure from the traditional icon-based layouts. However, the proprietary nature of this OS and limited app availability were downsides.
