Performance and Software
Equipped with a Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon S3 chipset, a dual-core 1.5 GHz Scorpion CPU, and an Adreno 220 GPU, the HTC Sensation XE was a performer in its time. It initially ran on Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) and was upgradeable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), featuring HTC’s Sense UI, which provided an intuitive and customizable user experience. While the hardware seems dated by contemporary standards, it was suitable for the multitasking and media needs of 2011 smartphone users.
