Performance
Under the hood, the HTC Touch 3G was powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 Snapdragon S1 chipset, coupled with a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU. Although basic by today’s standards, this configuration was adequate for its time, managing general applications and light multitasking with reasonable efficiency. The absence of a dedicated GPU meant that graphic-intensive tasks were not its forte. The phone included 192MB RAM and 256MB ROM, alongside a microSD slot, highlighting limited internal storage but some expandability.
