Design and Display
Design-wise, the HTC Touch Cruise 09 was compact and light, measuring 102 x 53.5 x 14.5 mm and weighing 103 grams. Its form factor made it quite portable and easy to handle. The device featured a resistive TFT touchscreen, which was not as responsive or vivid as the capacitive touchscreens that would soon dominate the market. At 2.8 inches, the screen size was considered adequate, but its 240 x 320-pixel resolution, resulting in a pixel density of approximately 143 ppi, left much to be desired in terms of clarity and color reproduction. The touchscreen supported TouchFLO finger swipe navigation, a user interface enhancement that attempted to make navigation more intuitive within the constraints of a resistive display.
