Audio and Connectivity
For audio, the TyTN II includes a loudspeaker, but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, which means users had to rely on Bluetooth or USB connectivity for personal audio. Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g enabled wireless connectivity, which was enough for basic internet browsing and file sharing. The addition of GPS and A-GPS added navigational capabilities, a forward-thinking feature for mobile users.
