The Huawei Ascend D quad was powered by its own Huawei K3V2 chipset, featuring a quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU running at 1.5 GHz. Coupled with a Vivante GC4000 GPU and 1GB of RAM, the phone was capable of handling multi-tasking and demanding applications relatively well for its time. Operating on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the device offered an interface that was intuitive, albeit lacking some of the more modern features found in later Android updates.
