The Ascend G740's camera setup provides a decent photographic experience for its class in 2013. The primary camera is an 8 MP shooter with autofocus and LED flash, capable of capturing 1080p video at 30 frames per second. While the image quality would not stand up against modern standards, it was respectable for casual photography. The front-facing camera is a basic 1 MP sensor, adequate for video calls but limited for high-quality selfies.
