The Huawei Ascend GX1 is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera featuring autofocus, LED flash, panorama, and HDR capabilities. The camera can record videos at 1080p@30fps, which was a respectable output for its range. While not cutting-edge, the camera performs adequately under good lighting conditions, capturing decent pictures that are adequate for social media sharing and casual photography. The front-facing 2 MP selfie camera, capable of 720p video recording, is basic but functional for video calls and self-portraits.
