Display Quality
Huawei chose to equip the Ascend P1 with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, which offers vibrant colors and excellent contrast. The screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, combined with a pixel density of approximately 256 pixels per inch, ensures that images and texts appear reasonably sharp. While the screen-to-body ratio of ~61.7% might seem modest by today's standards, it was competitive at time of release. The display’s brightness and contrast, with a ratio of 2.655:1 under sunlight, make it relatively easy to view outdoors, though direct sunlight can remain a challenge.
