Huawei Ascend Y100 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Powered by a single-core 800 MHz Cortex-A5 CPU and a Qualcomm MSM7225A Snapdragon S1 chipset, the Ascend Y100 was suited for basic smartphone functions, but demanding apps could push its limits. The device included an Adreno 200 GPU, offering minimal support for graphics. With only 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage, which could be expanded via microSDHC, the phone required users to frequently manage storage space. It ran on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a significantly outdated operating system by today's standards but typical for entry-level devices of that time.
