Huawei Mate 10 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Huawei Mate 10 is powered by the Kirin 970 chipset, characterized by a 10nm process, which was quite advanced for its time. The CPU configuration consists of an octa-core processor, delineating four high-performance Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four energy-efficient Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.8 GHz. This setup ensures smooth multitasking and competent performance in demanding applications. Complementing the CPU is the Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, which handles graphics processing with proficiency.

The device originally launched with Android 8.0 Oreo but is upgradable to Android 10, layered with Huawei's EMUI 10.2 interface. This interface provides extra functionality and customization options, though it may not suit everyone’s taste due to its divergence from stock Android.
