Performance

Under the hood, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset built on a 7 nm process, which was quite advanced at its time of release. This octa-core processor consists of two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores, two additional Cortex-A76 cores for tasks that require extra power, and four Cortex-A55 cores for energy efficiency. Coupled with the Mali-G76 MP10 GPU, the Mate 20 Pro handles demanding applications and games fluidly. The device comes with various memory configurations, offering 128GB with 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM, and a higher variant of 256GB storage with 8GB RAM, utilizing UFS 2.1 technology for fast data transfer. Although the phone lacks a dedicated microSD slot, it supports Nano Memory card expansion up to 256GB, sharing a slot with the second SIM card.
