Running on Huawei’s own Kirin 970 chipset, the Mate RS delivers a robust performance with its octa-core CPU configuration, consisting of four Cortex-A73 cores at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.8 GHz. The Mali-G72 MP12 GPU ensures smooth graphics performance, ideal for gaming and other high-intensity applications. The device comes with Android 8.1 (Oreo) overlaid with EMUI 9.1, offering a familiar yet customizable user experience. Though Android 8.1 is somewhat dated, the EMUI interface compensates with various functionality enhancements.
