One of the highlights of the Mate S was its 5.5-inch OLED display, offering vibrant colors and deep contrasts, bolstered by a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at approximately 401 ppi. This screen satisfactorily balanced screen real estate and clarity. An optional 3D Touch display added a touch of innovation, although it was not universally available. The screen was well-protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, providing resilience against everyday scratches and impacts.
