The Huawei Mate X5 is designed to impress and engineered for durability. Its dimensions change significantly when unfolded, offering a compact folded size of 156.9 x 72.4 x 11.1 mm and an expansive unfolded dimension of 156.9 x 141.5 x 5.3 mm. The device weighs between 243 and 245 grams, making it surprisingly manageable for a foldable phone. Constructed with a glass front and back, or alternatively an eco-leather back, combined with an aluminum frame, the Mate X5 feels premium in hand. It also boasts an IPX8 rating, ensuring it is water-resistant for up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, enhancing its resilience against everyday hazards.
