Performance and Software
Under the hood, the MediaPad X1 is powered by a Kirin 910 chipset with a 28 nm architecture, coupled with a Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and a Mali-450MP4 GPU. While these specs were moderate at the time of release, they were sufficient for everyday tasks and moderate gaming. The device initially shipped with Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) but was upgradable to Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) with Huawei's EMUI 2 interface, providing a slightly newer user experience with improved functionality.
