Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Huawei MediaPad X2 is powered by the Kirin 930 chipset, built on a 28 nm process. Its octa-core CPU, comprising four 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores, ensures a smooth multitasking experience. The Mali-T628 MP4 GPU handles graphics tasks competently, making casual gaming and multimedia consumption enjoyable. Initially running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Huawei's EMUI 3 overlay, it is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing access to newer features and improved performance.
In terms of memory, the MediaPad X2 is available with two configurations: a 16GB internal storage model with 2GB of RAM, and a more robust 32GB variant featuring 3GB of RAM. Additionally, users can expand storage via a dedicated microSDXC card slot, allowing for ample space for apps, photos, videos, and other media.
