Huawei Mulan Performance and Software

Performance and Software

At the heart of the Huawei Mulan was the Kirin 920 chipset built on a 28 nm process. The octa-core CPU amalgamated four Cortex-A15 cores for demanding tasks and four Cortex-A7 cores for energy efficiency, promising a balanced performance. This was paired with a Mali-T624MP4 GPU for handling graphic-intensive operations, including gaming and video playback. The phone offered 3GB of RAM, which would have been ample for multitasking along with an internal storage of 16GB, expandable via a dedicated microSDXC card slot—a much-appreciated flexibility for users requiring more space.

Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat layered with Huawei’s EMUI 2.3, the user interface would have offered a blend of feature-rich customizations and the stability of Android. Though not equipped with the latest software even at its planned release time, it was set to deliver a functional and smooth user experience.
