Performance and Software
The Nexus 6P was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, an octa-core processor that included four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.55 GHz and four Cortex-A57 cores at 2.0 GHz. Paired with an Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM, the phone was capable of handling demanding applications and multitasking with relative ease. Users could choose from three internal storage options: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, though the lack of expandable storage was a limitation for some. Initially launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the device was upgradeable to Android 8.0 Oreo, providing access to newer software features and security updates during its supported lifecycle.
