Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 5T is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset built on a 7nm process, featuring an octa-core CPU with a combination of high-performance and energy-efficient cores. This setup includes two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz, two Cortex-A76 cores at 1.92 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. The Mali-G76 MP10 GPU further supports smooth graphics performance, making the Nova 5T more than capable of handling demanding apps and games. The smartphone is available with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, although it lacks a memory card slot for further expansion. The device initially ships with Android 9.0 Pie but is upgradable to Android 10 with EMUI 10, which should suffice for most users.
