Performance
Under the hood, the Huawei P8 is powered by either the Kirin 930 or Kirin 935 chipset, both using a 28 nm process. The octa-core processor, combined with 3GB of RAM, ensures efficient multitasking and a smooth user experience, albeit performance benchmarks are below today's standards. The device shipped with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, layered with Huawei's EMUI 3.1. While this might sound outdated today, at the time, it provided reliable and brisk performance for various tasks, from browsing to gaming.
