Under the hood, the Huawei Y5II comes with two chipset models: the 4G variant is powered by a Mediatek MT6735P, while the 3G version houses a Mediatek MT6582. Both models operate on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, differing slightly with a Cortex-A53 for the LTE model and a Cortex-A7 for the 3G model. The Mali GPUs further differentiate the two, with the 4G model using a Mali-T720MP2 and the 3G model equipped with a Mali-400MP2. These hardware configurations drive the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS layered with EMUI 3.1. While the performance is adequate for basic tasks, it might struggle with resource-heavy applications due to its modest 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, expandable via microSDHC.
