Design and Build
The JAMA 101 featured a compact design, with dimensions of 105 x 52.5 x 15.5 mm, making it quite pocket-friendly, especially for its time. Weighing in at 110 grams, it was relatively light, which contributed to its portability. The device utilized a Mini-SIM card and was clad in a simplistic black casing. One notable design choice was the inclusion of a resistive touchscreen; although not known for their sensitivity, resistive touchscreens were common at the time, catering to basic touch input and stylus use.
