Audio on the i-mate JAMA is delivered through a loudspeaker or can be experienced with downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. However, the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack may inconvenience users who prefer traditional wired headphones. For connectivity, the phone is limited to Bluetooth 1.2 and does not support WLAN, positioning services, or radio. Its reliance on GPRS for data connectivity without EDGE limits its internet browsing capabilities significantly. The miniUSB 1.1 port is available for data transfer and charging, adhering to older standards.
