Under the hood, the Gprime Extreme runs on the Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system, supported by the Mediatek MT6589 chipset. The processor is a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, which, combined with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU, offers smooth basic performance for web browsing, social media, and casual games. Although the specs might seem modest now, they were quite adequate for a mid-range phone back in 2013.
