Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 10 Play is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU with a split of 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and 4x1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. This configuration is capable of handling basic tasks such as web browsing, streaming, and social media with ease, although it may struggle with more demanding applications or multitasking. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU manages graphical tasks, suitable for casual gaming.
The phone comes with Android 10 (Go edition) and Infinix’s XOS 7 skin, enhancing the user interface with additional features and customizations. The Go edition is optimized for devices with lower specifications, providing smoother operation on the 2GB or 4GB RAM options available.
