Under the hood, the Intex Aqua Y2 Remote is powered by a Mediatek MT6572M chipset, a 28nm dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor, and a Mali-400 GPU. This combination targets basic smartphone operations and light multitasking. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which was already somewhat outdated at the time of release. With just 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, the phone is clearly limited in its app management capabilities. Users can expand storage via a microSDHC card, but performance constraints are unavoidable. The phone is best suited for users with minimal smartphone needs, such as calling, texting, and limited app usage.
