Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Karbonn A21 was equipped with a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. This was a big selling point at the time, providing a performance boost over single-core competitors. However, with just 512MB of RAM, the device would struggle with multi-tasking and more demanding applications, particularly by today’s standards. It came with 4GB of internal storage, which was modest even back in 2012, but the inclusion of a microSDHC card slot allowed users to increase storage, which was beneficial for storing media and apps.
