Under the hood, the Karbonn S5 Titanium houses a Qualcomm MSM8225Q Snapdragon S4 Play chipset. It comprises a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A5 CPU and an Adreno 203 GPU, which managed to deliver adequate performance for basic applications and multitasking needs. The phone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, providing a user-friendly interface with access to the Google Play Store for app installations. With 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, it could handle everyday apps though it was limited in storage capacity, which could be expanded via a microSDHC card.
