Equipped with a 5.0-inch IPS LCD screen, the Lava Iris 503 provides users with a decent viewing experience for its class, with a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 65.7%. The resolution of 540 x 960 pixels results in a pixel density of about 220 ppi, which, while not exceptional by today's standards, was reasonable at the time for basic tasks such as browsing and viewing photos. The color reproduction is fairly accurate, but the resolution limits the sharpness of finer details.
