Under the hood, the Lava X46 is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor. This setup, along with 2GB of RAM, supports basic multitasking, though it struggles with more intensive applications or high-end gaming. Initially running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the device received the ability to upgrade to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, offering users an improved user interface and additional features that came with the software update.
