Under the hood, the Lava X50 was powered by a quad-core processor, running on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, with an option to upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow — an advantageous feature at its price point. While not a powerhouse, the 2GB of RAM allowed for reasonable multitasking and performance across daily applications. The phone came equipped with 8GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSDHC card slot, giving users a bit more breathing space for apps, photos, and media files.
