Camera
The photographic capabilities of the Lava Z40 are minimalist, featuring a single 2 MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and HDR mode. While the camera is unlikely to win any awards for image quality, it suffices in bright conditions for basic photography. The front-facing 2 MP selfie camera, also equipped with LED flash, supports video calling and basic selfies. Video recording is possible at 720p@30fps, which is adequate for capturing simple moments.
