Running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Lenovo A800 is powered by a Mediatek MT6577T chipset with a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and a PowerVR SGX531 GPU. While this hardware combination was sufficient for basic smartphone functions at the time, such as calling, texting, and web browsing, the 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (with only 1.65GB available to the user) limits multitasking and storage for apps and media. Fortunately, the phone includes a microSDHC card slot for expandable storage, which is a crucial feature for users needing additional space for apps and media.
