Photography on the A850 was nothing to write home about, with a single 5 MP rear camera equipped with autofocus and an LED flash. Pictures taken were serviceable for capturing memories but lacked the detail and quality seen in more expensive models. The video capabilities were basic, with no standout features. The front camera was a meager VGA, which was typical for the time and suitable only for very basic video calls, not selfies.
