Lenovo K8 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Lenovo K8 is powered by a Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20 chipset, which includes an octa-core processor comprising four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.35 GHz and another four at 1.65 GHz. Paired with 3GB of RAM, this configuration provides adequate performance for typical daily tasks such as browsing, social media, and basic app usage. The Mali-T880MP2 GPU handles graphics, though it's more suited to casual gaming rather than graphically intensive applications.

Initially shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the K8 is upgradeable to Android 8.0 Oreo, allowing users to benefit from a slightly more modern interface and features. Lenovo's clean software approach means a near-stock Android experience, which is appreciated for its straightforwardness and less bloatware.
