Camera and Project Tango
The Phab2 Pro’s camera system is tailored to support Project Tango’s augmented reality experiences. The single 16 MP main camera features phase detection autofocus and a selection of sensors for depth and motion tracking. Although the camera lacks the creative range of multiple lenses found in modern devices, the hardware was advanced for its time. The rear camera supports HDR and panorama modes while recording video in 1080p at 30fps. The front camera hosts an 8 MP sensor, also filming at 1080p, useful for clear selfies and video calls.
