Under the hood, the Lenovo S650 is powered by the Mediatek MT6582 chipset, featuring a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Mali-400MP2 GPU. These specifications were sufficient for its time, providing smooth performance for everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and running apps available on its Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. However, the 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable via microSDHC, could feel limiting with more demanding applications or heavier multitasking burdens.
