Performance
Under the hood, the Lenovo S720 is powered by a Mediatek MT6577 chipset, featuring a dual-core Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1.0 GHz. Coupled with a PowerVR SGX531u GPU, this setup was reasonably capable of handling daily tasks when released, such as browsing, media consumption, and running basic apps. The device runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, which, while outdated today, was aligned with the software trends of its release period. However, with only 512MB of RAM, multitasking capability of the phone was limited, which may lead to performance bottlenecks with resource-intensive applications.
