Lenovo Tab 7 Essential Performance

Performance

Under the hood, the Lenovo Tab 7 Essential is powered by different configurations depending on the model. The Wi-Fi model operates on a Mediatek MT8167D chipset with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A35 CPU, while the LTE version is equipped with a Mediatek MT8735D chipset and a slightly less powerful quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. Graphics processing is managed by a PowerVR GE8300 for the Wi-Fi model and a Mali-T720MP2 GPU for the LTE version.

The tablet comes with several memory configurations: 8GB of internal storage with 2GB of RAM, or 16GB of internal storage with either 1GB or 2GB of RAM, depending on the variant. For additional storage needs, a microSD card slot is available. While these specifications are far from cutting-edge, they are sufficient for lightweight tasks such as web browsing, reading e-books, and watching standard-definition videos.
