Fitted with a non-removable Li-Po 3250 mAh battery (24.1 Wh), the ThinkPad aimed to provide sufficient battery life for a workday's use under moderate conditions. Although this capacity might appear modest by current standards, its efficiency would have been reasonably adequate for its intended tasks at the time of release.
