Audio and Connectivity
The lack of a loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack meant that users were primarily limited to using the inbuilt vibrating alert and downloadable polyphonic ringtones for notifications. Connectivity options were minimal, with no support for Bluetooth or WLAN, which limited wireless data transfer opportunities. It did offer an infrared (IR) port for short-range communication, a common feature before Bluetooth became widespread. The phone also supported GPRS and EDGE for internet connectivity and a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser for basic web access.
