Originally shipped with Android 2.1 (Eclair), with an upgrade path to Android 2.2 (Froyo), the LG Apex offers users fundamental access to the Android operating system. Powered by a Qualcomm MSM7627 chipset with a 600 MHz ARM 11 CPU and Adreno 200 GPU, the device was designed for basic smartphone tasks such as browsing, email, and light app usage. Its internal memory houses 512MB of storage alongside 256MB of RAM, which could be augmented with a microSDHC card, reflecting its utility and budget orientation.
