The C299 features a modest 2.2-inch TFT display with 256K colors. While the small screen real estate and resolution of 240 x 320 pixels limit its multimedia capabilities, the display is adequate for basic tasks such as text messaging and simple applications. The display occupies around 19.5% of the front panel, which is a trade-off for accommodating the full QWERTY keyboard. Its modest pixel density of 182 ppi means images and text aren't the sharpest, but for a basic phone, it gets the job done.
