Performance and Software
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm QSD8650 Snapdragon S1 chipset, coupled with a 1.0 GHz Scorpion CPU and Adreno 200 GPU. Although not a powerhouse by today's standards, this combination provided smooth performance in the context of 2010, especially with the efficient Windows Phone 7 operating system. The device came with 16GB of internal storage and 512MB of RAM, which was relatively competitive at the time for handling the OS and most apps, although the lack of a microSD slot limited expansion options. Notably, the device was upgradable to Windows Phone 7.8, extending its software lifecycle beyond initial release.
