Under the hood, the G Flex is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset coupled with a quad-core 2.26 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. This was top-of-the-line hardware in 2013, capable of delivering smooth performance on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, upgradable to 4.4.2 KitKat. With 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the G Flex offers respectable multitasking capabilities but lacks expandable storage, which might be a drawback for some users.
