Under the hood, the LG G2 mini LTE (Tegra) is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 4i chipset, featuring a quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU. This setup was quite competitive for a mid-range smartphone in 2014, delivering reliable performance for applications and moderate multitasking. The integrated ULP GeForce GPU with 60 cores supports graphics processing adequate for casual games and multimedia viewing. With 1GB of RAM, the phone handles basic functions smoothly; however, the multitasking capabilities are restricted compared to modern devices with greater RAM capacity. The smartphone initially ran on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and was skinned with LG's custom Optimus UI, providing additional features and customization options.
