LG KE800 Design and Build

Design and Build

The LG KE800, also known within some circles as part of the "Chocolate" series, is a testament to its era—when design and compactness were at the forefront of mobile technology. Announced in October 2006, and although now discontinued, this phone captured attention with its sleek, minimalist form factor. The dimensions, 95 x 46 x 17.5 mm, reflect an era when phones were decidedly smaller, easily fitting into pockets. Weighing just 95 grams, the KE800 manages to be lightweight without feeling flimsy. Its understated elegance is complemented by touch-sensitive navigation keys, which were innovative at the time, offering a touch of futuristic flair with their responsive backlighting. Catering to a practical design scheme, the KE800 uses a Mini-SIM slot, which was standard during its launch period.
